Go is better together.
Invite a friend to play Go online for free. All you need is a browser and an internet connection.
A table for two
Choose Invite a friend in the play lobby. Set the board, komi, handicap and clock, then share the private invitation link. Your friend opens it on another device and joins with a separate guest session or account. Treat that link like an invitation: anyone you share it with may view the table.
Find a new opponent
Matchmaking pairs players with compatible settings. Public tables are also available to join or watch. Friendly games work with guests; ranked games require accounts and use Baduk Online’s own Elo ratings. Availability depends on who is online.
Finish the game together
Pass, resign, or request a draw. Friendly games can allow takebacks with the other player’s consent. Automatic area scoring records the result, and either player can appeal a scored result within seven days.
Reconnect to your seat
If your connection drops, reopen the table with the same account or browser session. The server restores the board; your clock continues while you are disconnected. Each player needs a separate identity to control a separate seat.
